"Hamekayemet", is a collaborative materials locker space that works on a "give-and-take" method of materials and equipment between students and the faculty in Bezalel Academy. The goals of the sustaining project is to bridge the surplus and lack of equipment and materials, to enable savings in financial expenses, and to encourage the use of existing materials. Equipment that is no longer in use can be left and renewed from the existing one.
"Hamekayemet" was established as part of the "Sustainability Incubator", in collaboration with "Thaklas" the sustainability cell in Bezalel, by Ori Shany, Ori Greifel, Eden Lederman and Gali Beja and accompanied by Dr. Elad Persov, head of the space for sustainable development and the coordinator of the incubator, Yael Sherer and with the support of the Dean of Students.
